The children will trace the letters on sand letters with their fingers, build letters with wood pieces and write on the board with short crayons.

Pre-cutting skills—The children will cut a line.

Practicing a functional grasp--

We talk about crabby fingers and using 3 fingers and tucking away the other 2 fingers.

We write on the vertical surface to encourage big arm movements which increases strength.

Art

We will be making gingerbread house.

Literacy:

Students put together a letter U puzzle and name pictures.

 What would happen to the gingerbread man if he fell in the water?

We will look at pictures of items that start with the letter U.

Sensory:

We will paint a gingerbread man with scented shaving cream.
