Hello, My name is Jan Mathis and I have been teaching in Frisco
ISD for 11 years. I have taught Structured Language Class, Co-teach class
and Self Contained Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities. I
have taught at several schools including Acker, Sparks, Pink, Tadlock and ECS.
Previous to being a teacher, I worked in the Early childhood field
and was the Director of private and corporate NAEYC accredited Early Childhood
Programs. I served NAEYC as an Accreditation Specialist.
I received my Bachelors of Science from Southwestern Oklahoma
State University and did some graduate work in Child development at Oklahoma
State University. I received my alternative certification for teaching
Special education in 2003 and later added certifications in English as a Second
Language and Early Childhood through 6th grade for Regular Education.
I currently reside in
Little Elm, Texas with my husband and 2 children. I married a year ago in March and I became a
step-grandmother of 3 and a step-mother to 7 children! People around
the school still want to call me Mrs. Gregg, I even slip and do it sometimes. My husband and I are members at Crossridge
Church and serve as 4th grade Sunday school teachers.
I look forward to the new
school year and getting to know you and your child. Please never hesitate
to call or e-mail me. mathisj@friscoisd.org 469-633-3825

Hello, My name is Kellyn Friedman and this will be my 2nd year
teaching in Frisco ISD. I have spent time working in several
different Frisco ISD elementary schools and I am really looking forward to
working with your child.
My husband and I are celebrating our 20th year of
marriage, and we have 3 children ranging in age from 12 to 17 years old.
I am proud to say that all 3 of them are exemplary students within the Frisco
ISD. My children have attended Ashley Elementary, Roach Middle School,
and Heritage High School. Our family loves Frisco and we are very
involved within the community. My 12 yr. old daughter is a member of a
competitive cheerleading team from a local gym, and my boys are both actively
involved in school athletics as well as my husband, who serves on the executive
board of the Heritage High School Athletic Booster Club. We also attend
church locally at Preston Trails Community Church.
I received my Bachelors of Science from the University of North
Texas. I love working with children and I bring a very compassionate and
caring approach to your child’s educational experience. I truly believe
that each child is unique and is capable of accomplishing extraordinary
achievements. I serve to assist you and your child in establishing the
foundation for your child to achieve his/her potential.
I am very excited to get to know you and your child.
Kellyn Friedman
