PPCD News: December 1-5
Reminders
We will be need 12 premade gingerbread cookies(Pepperidge
farms or Little Debbie has them)a large roll of gingerbread cookie dough,
gumdrops, 2 tubes of red icing and M&M’s for cooking next week by Wednesday. We are also in need of a new can opener for
our kitchen. Please comment on Facebook
if you are able to bring an item. If you
haven’t already sent extra winter clothes to replace the shorts and short
sleeves, please make sure and send some.

We will be putting the letters of their names in order and fishing
for letters.

Fine motor:
Pre-cutting skills—The children will cut a line.
Fine motor strength—
Practicing a functional grasp--
We talk about crabby fingers and using 3 fingers and tucking
away the other 2 fingers.
We write on the vertical surface to encourage big arm
movements which increases strength.
Art
We will be making gingerbread man.
Literacy:
Students use the review letters puzzles and name pictures.
Who chased the
gingerbread man?
We will name items that start with our review letters.

We will use play dough to make gingerbread men
