PPCD News: April 20-24, 2015
Reminders:
Next week, Thursday, April 23rd,
we have a performance in the cafeteria at 6:00 p.m. We would love for you to bring your child to
perform that night and stay to watch. Please
bring your child to my room at 5:45 p.m.
There will be no PTA meeting that night.
We will be making hats to wear that night. If you like, you can dress your child in a
light or white shirt but please don’t go shopping. Thank you.

Items needed by Monday for cooking/crafts/snack
foods:
Wood clothes pins, cheese sticks, goldfish, grapes, and
we need more bowl type coffee filters.
Please go to Facebook or e-mail me if you
want to bring one of the items above so we don’t have any duplicates. Thank you!
The snacks are only for families that participate
in group snack. If you send a snack then
you don’t need to sign up to send snack items.
Family size boxes please not individual packages.

skills- We will be cutting out a volcano.
Fine motor strength-
tracing letters in shaving cream
Practicing a
functional grasp- The children will be practicing the tri-pod grasp while
writing.
We talk about
crabby fingers and using 3 fingers and tucking away the other 2 fingers. The children will write the letter V in the
air and on the white board.
Creativity
The children
will paint with recycled materials.
Sensory:
The children
will make an earth out of puff paint.
