We will be counting one to one with a 10 frame.

Fine motor:

Pre-cutting skills—snipping

Fine motor strength—writing on a vertical surface and painting a rainbow

Practicing a functional grasp—The children will be practicing picking up a crayon with our HWT song

We talk about crabby fingers and using 3 fingers and tucking away the other 2 fingers.  The children will write the letter R in the air and on the white board.  

Creativity

The children will create a flower

The children will dig for insects in rice.
